Police charge 2 Calgary men after $100,000 in stolen goods found at northeast home

Two Calgary men have been charged with drug and theft offences after Calgary police found $100,000 worth of stolen tools, bicycles, vehicles and drugs in a northeast home.

Two men have been charged with drugand theft offences after Calgary police found more than $100,000 worth ofstolen tools, bicycles, vehicles and drugs in a northeast home.

Police say the items were intended to be sold or traded for drugs.

Officers entered a home in the 100 block of Falshire Dr. N.E. on April 22, where they found $14,350 worth ofheroin and $1,460 worth of crystal meth.

The stolen goods on the property also included $90,000 in power tools, $15,000 in bicycles, motorcycles and cars, and $10,000 in household items, according to police.

Investigators are working to return the stolen property to its rightful owners.

Anyone who believes their goodsmay be among the stolen property can call 403-266-1234 or go to a district office to file a report.

The home will be shuttered throughthe Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) unit.
