A man drove a flatbed into a compounds in February and made off with a custom truck that was later found damaged.

It's the case of the stolen truck that is really hard to miss.

Like, really hard.

The theft of the jacked-up, gold-coloured 2018 Dodge Ram with a blue frame and interior was caught on surveillance video on Feb. 1 at about 1 a.m.

Police say a man drovea less distinctive green Dodge Ram truck pulling a flatbed trailer into the fenced compound surrounding DiVita Auto Shop at 5306 Third St. S.E. and made off with the custom truck.

On Feb. 27, it was found down an embankment in the McLean Creek area, southwest of the city.

The truck was heavily damaged.

Police hope the public will be able to help them track down the thief.

"Given its unique and distinctive appearance, police believe that someone in the community may remember seeing this truck," reads a news release on the incident.
