3rd man found guilty in New Year's Day triple murder

A third man was found guilty today of murder in the 2009 New Year's Day deaths of three people at the Bolsa Restaurant.

A third man was found guilty today of murder for the 2009 New Year's Day deaths of three people at the Bolsa Restaurant in Calgary's southeast.

After roughly 27 hours of deliberation over two days,a Calgary jury found Real Honorio guilty on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder in the deaths of known gang member Sanjeev Mann, 22, gang associate Aaron Bendle, 21, and innocent bystander Keni Sua.

Mann and Bendle were targeted in the daylight attack. Sua, a 43-year-old construction worker, was eating in the restaurant and tried to escape but was beaten and gunned down in the parking lot.

Nathan Zuccherato and Michael Roberto, were alsofound guilty of three counts of first-degree murderfor the crime Oct. 17.

Honoriofaces 25 years behind bars with no chance of parole, but hewill not be officially sentenced until victim impact statements are read. Court will reconvene on April 13 to set that date.

The 28-year-oldhad pleaded not guilty.
