Motorcyclist dead after crash in West Vancouver: police

A motorcyclist died in a crash in West Vancouver on Tuesday night, police say.West Vancouver PoliceDepartment spokesperson Suzanne Birchsaid three motorcyclists were driving west in the 5500-block of Marine Drive when the lead rider crashed.

A motorcyclist died in a crash in West Vancouver on Tuesday night, police say.

West Vancouver PoliceDepartment spokesperson Suzanne Birchsaid three motorcyclists were driving west in the 5500 block of Marine Drivewhen the lead rider crashed.

The motorcyclistdied at the scene, Birch said.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service is helping investigate what happened.

In an email to CBC News, a B.C. Emergency Health Services spokesperson said no patients were taken to hospital.
