Vancouver police investigating homicide after young woman found dead on city's east side

Police say they are investigating a homicide following a death in Vancouver'sRenfrew-Collingwood area on Saturday morning.

Officers were called out around midnight PT on Saturday to a home in an area near Rupert Street and Euclid Avenue on the city's east side, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

Police say they found a woman in her 20s dead at the scene while a second victim, a male in his 20s, was found injured and taken to hospital.

Police say they have arrested a 46-year-old suspect, but the individual was not identified and no additional details were released.


Investigators are asking anyone with information on the case to contact police.
