The Bike Doctor is back under familiar hands

When The Bike Doctor closed almost two years ago, Erich Jurgensfeared a gap would be left behind in the cycling community.

The shop in East Vancouver had been helping two-wheel commuters with tune-ups and tires for decades. After the previous owner retired, the shop briefly closed its doors beforeJurgens, as the new owner,and a handful of former employees banded together to bring the store back.

They recently re-opened in the same location with new stock and a retrofitted repair shop.
