Mounties are searching for a man facing nearly a dozen charges for allegedly trafficking in large amounts of fentanyl, heroin and cocaine on Surrey's most notorious street.

Twenty-eight-year-old Dominic Graham Robert Lastoria is wanted on 11 charges of possession for the purposes of trafficking, following a six-month investigation that has already resulted in four other arrests.

"Our officers have been diligently working behind the scenes developing intelligence and proactively targeting individuals involved in the street level drug trade," Surrey RCMP Asst. Comm. Dwayne McDonald said in a press release.

"These arrests and seizures are part of a wider, long-term effort to reduce the prevalence of drug trafficking in our communities and the resulting violence."

Investigators allege the criminal network network distributed drugs to some of the most vulnerable people in Surrey, including those living on 135A Street, an area known locally as "The Strip." The street's residents have been hit particularly hard by the fentanyl crisis sweeping across B.C.

The investigation culminated with four searches on Aug. 16 and 17, when officers seized about 30,000 doses of cocaine and close to 4,800 doses of heroin and fentanyl, according to the press release.

Two loaded handguns, four other weapons, body armour, a stolen vehicle, stolen identity cards and cash were also seized during the searches.

A total of 48 charges have been approved against Lastoria and four other people: 34-year-old Bradley Thomas Antrobus of Surrey; 28-year-old Wyatt Kyle Costain of Surrey; 35-year-old Trevor Desjarlais of Surrey; and 22-year-old Reanna Grace Kolakovic of Surrey.

Lastoria has no fixed address and is described as a 5'5"-tall, 130-pound white man with blond hair, blue eyes, and a slender build.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
