Attention Raptors fans: Danny Green is in Vancouver

Danny Green is in Vancouver. If you're a Raptors fan, you're probably excited.

If you're not a Raptors fan, you've probably heard his name because basketball has been inescapable in Canada recently.

The shooting guard who helped Toronto take the NBA title last monthsigned autographs Friday at the opening of a new London Drugs in the Dunbar neighbourhood.

Around two hundred fanslined up to catch a glimpse of the Raptor, including Ferdinand Manzanwho started getting in lineat 3:30 a.m. Friday.

"Luckily, I was the first one in line," Manzansaid.

Wearing a vintage Damon Stoudamirejersey from the 90s, Manzan said he had been a fan for years.

"I wouldn't miss this for anything ... it means everything to me."

Green said he was thankful for all the love and support from the fans.

"We're just normal people who happen to play basketball ... We happened to win this year which is a great feeling," Green said.

Future as a Raptor uncertain

Friday's event took placeas Green's future in Torontohangs in limbo.

He's currently a free agent, which means he could stay with the Raptors next season or switch teams. He didn't reveal any hints as to his future during the meet and greet.

This week, on his podcastInside The Green Room, Green said he'swaiting to see what happens with his teammate, Kawhi Leonard, who's also a free agent andmulling a move.

In the meantime, Green has been touring across Canada, including a visit last weekend at a Winnipeg youth basketball camp.

"All the camps have been sold out. All the kids have been enjoying it," Green said.

He's hosting a similar camp in Richmond, B.C., this weekend.
