Pop-up dog caf to open in Vancouver

The B.C. SPCA is partnering with Taxi Global Caf to host a pop-up dog cafe on Friday.

First came the cat caf. Now, the puppy caf.

The B.C. SPCA is partnering with Taxi Global Cafto host a pop-up dog cafe in Vancouveron Friday.

"They'll be opening the doors and we'll be bringing down some adoptable dogs," said B.C. SPCA spokeswoman Lorie Chortyk.

"People can grab a cup of coffee and meet our dogs and hopefully there'll be a match."

Puppy-love seekers need to give a $10 donation to see the dogs.

The pop-up caf will run from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT on Aug. 5at 515 Richards Street.
