A cold front stalled over the South Coast of B.C. is expected to dump another round of heavy rain Metro Vancouver, Howe Sound and the Fraser Valley on Monday.

The Environment Canada alert warns up to 50 millimetres of rain will fall over northern parts of Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley near the mountains.

Howe Sound may get up to 80 millimetres.

The warning comes as BC Hydro continues to restore power to about 60,000 homes that remain without power on Monday morning following Saturday's storm which knocked out power to about 500,000 customers.
