IHIT, RCMP investigating death of 2 people in Richmond home

Two people were found dead inside a residence inthe 6200 block of Goldsmith Road.

Police were called to the residence just after 10:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of a 'suspicious circumstance'

Two people were found dead inside a home inthe 6200 block of Goldsmith Road in Richmond on Thursday night, according to the RCMP.

Police say they were called to the residence just after 10:30 p.m. for a report of a "suspicious circumstance."

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has joined the investigation.

"Police are currently in the early evidence gathering phase and no further information can be provided at this time," said police in a statement.
