IHIT investigating homicide inside Burnaby store

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is investigating a homicide it says happened inside a Burnaby business.

IHIT reportedin a tweetthe deathoccurredin the 4500 block of North Roadin a strip mall on the west side of the road.

Police have been inside theCho Won Health Food store gathering evidence since late morning.

IHIT says the victim is female and the homicide appears to be targetedbut have provided no other details.
