Doctors donate $100,000 to UNBC

Doctor Kevin Page is one of the doctors who contributed to the fund. He says having a medical program at UNBC should improve the quality of healthcare in northern B.C.

"We seem to have a lot of difficulty trying to encourage newly trained graduates out of UBC to come north."

The Northern Medical Program is being run in partnership with UBC. The first group of northern medical students will begin classes at UNBC in January.
