Bogus member signups for Falcon campaign

Falcon's campaign manager, Norman Stowe, has revealed a Falcon supporter signed up several members of the Kamloops Blazers junior hockey team.

Problem is, the players didn't know anything about it.

"While we appreciate the support of that person up in Kamloops, what they did was wrong," said Stowe. "It should not have happened, and we wanted to make sure the party understood these memberships should not be put on the party roster."

The owner of the Kamloops Blazers is Tom Gaglardi, a Kevin Falcon supporter.

Falcon's campaign team has not revealed who orchestrated the bogus hockey player signups.

Their names have been removed from the Liberal Party membership list.
