Organizers of the International Indian Film Awards are warning Bollywood fans to beware of fake tickets for the upcoming awards show in Toronto.

The International Indian Film AcademyAwards, or IIFA,are taking place June 23 to 25 at Rogers Arena, and organizers say all 17,000 seats sold out in minutes.

That means fans like Surina Gambhir are looking to websites like Kijiji and Craigslist to find tickets.

Gambhir said she is willing to pay up to $250 each for three tickets.

"But unfortunately, it's just so hot. Like these ticketsthe demand is so high, I don't even get replies."

But organizers are warning fans to beware of fake tickets when buying from scalpers.

IIFA spokesperson Noreen Khan said fake tickets won't be accepted at the awards show.

"Unfortunately, IIFA can only[accept] legitimate... tickets that were purchased through Ticketmaster," she said.

"Obviously the venue and Ticketmaster will only accept entrance from tickets that are sold through them and the original type, and so we would hope that anyone who obtains tickets in any other manner is just very vigilant about knowing the source of them and what they are and where they're coming from."

But all is not lost for Bollywood fans hoping to get a glimpse of the awards showfor the first time in the IIFA's history, the show is being broadcast live in North America.

Khan said the awards show is available through cable providers as a pay-per-view special.
