The park will feature a common storyline as well as performances by Cirque artists and an outdoor evening show for as many as 3,000 to 5,000 spectators.

It may also include water park and nature park elements.

In a statement, Cirque founder Guy Lalibert vows it will be "something unlike anything the world has seen before."

Construction is expected to be complete in 2018.
