Ryan Gosling might not have won best supporting actor, but he won over the crowd at the 96th Academy Awards with his epic, hilarious performance of"I'm Just Ken."

Dressed in a sparkling, Barbie-pink suit, Gosling began singing from the crowd, seated behind his Barbie co-star Margot Robbie who giggled as he began the song. He removed his black cowboy hat, placed it on his sister's head, and climbed the stairs to the stage alongside Mark Ronson, one of the songwriters behind the track.

As he joined a number of suited Ken dancersincludingSimu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir and NcutiGatwa, several fans noticed heappeared to reference Marilyn Monroe's performance of "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" from the 1953film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

Then, he was lifted in the air by the dancers, before appearing alongside Slash, who performed a dramatic guitar solo.

Scampering back to the audience to finish belting out the lyrics,Goslingshared the mic with Barbie director Greta Gerwig, Robbie, and America Ferreraaswell as best actress winner Emma Stone.
