CBC TAKES HOME 49 CANADIAN SCREEN AWARDS

Mar 13, 2017

CBC and its production partners took home 49 awards, more than any other broadcaster, during The Academy of Canadian Film & Television’s Canadian Screen Award week, which spanned four award galas honouring excellence in scripted, unscripted, documentary, news, sports and digital programming. “These awards are a testament to the quality of CBC's distinctly Canadian content, which informs and entertains while reflecting our country's rich diversity of voices and experiences,” said Heather Conway, Executive Vice-President, English Services, CBC. “As Canada's public broadcaster, we are proud to be at the very heart of this nation's cultural ecosystem, nurturing and investing in Canadian creators and artists. Congratulations to all nominees and winners. CBC celebrates your passion, dedication and commitment to telling Canadian stories.”
