Jessica Ng is the host of CBC Edmonton's afternoon drive show, Radio Active.

She loves to share and discover community stories. Jessica is wildly passionate about the arts, as well as fitness and wellness. The daughter of two entrepreneurs, she also has a special interest in local business and grassroots initiatives.

Jessica has worked as a newsreader for The World This Hour, Ontario Morning, Fresh Air, Here and Now, and Metro Morning, reported for CBC Toronto and News Network. She has also reported on the Toronto International Film Festival and the JUNO Awards, and hosted JUNOfest performances and Weekend Mornings on CBC Music.  

Previously for CTV, she was a morning anchor and host in Saskatoon and a video-journalist in Fredericton.

Before broadcasting, Jessica earned her Master of Music from Berklee College of Music and taught at the college level.

She is a cancer survivor.
