Emmerly Tinglin

Emmerly is a dedicated and driven performer who loves nothing more than to be on stage. She is nineteen years old, from Brampton, Ontario, Canada. She is a dancer, actor and teacher. She graduated from Mayfield Secondary School as a dance major. She trained at Joanne Chapman School of Dance, under the direction of Joanne Chapman herself as well as Dana and Jessie Chapman-Carroll. She trains in varies styles of dance such as Acrobatics, Hip hop, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, and Modern. Emmerly is looked up to by younger students and is engaged in developing not only her own skills and technique but theirs as well. Being a competitive dancer for over 10 years has taught her the value of hard work and sportsmanship. Working with, learning and gaining experiences from amazing choreographers such as Chad McCall, Kirsten Russell, Stacey Tookey, and others, Emmerly is always excited to keep growing not only as a dancer but as a person. Her career highlights include being a part of Team Canada for dance, competing in Prague in 2014, and joining the NBA Raptors Dance Team for the 2018-2019 season. Watch for her as Kenzie, a series lead in season six of The Next Step.
