Al Mukadam stars as Drug Squad Detective Taai Nazeer in the female buddy cop drama Pretty Hard Cases for CBC, NBCU and IMDb TV.

Born and raised in Toronto, Als first acting role was at 11 years old starring in a McDonalds commercial with hockey legend Wayne Gretzky. He was ultimately cut out of the final product. Undeterred, for over 20 years, Al maintains a catalogue of noteworthy credits that include roles starring alongside Jessica Chastain in Miss Sloane, Jason Sudeikis in Kodachrome and Pamela Adlon in Better Things, to name drop a few. At the age of 18, Al formed his production company, BAMN (By Any Means Necessary) Productions where he continues to develop, write, produce, and direct content in various forms. Al currently splits his time between Toronto and Los Angeles with his family.
