Monica Ittusardjuatis a residential school survivor. For many years, she workedas a teacherin elementary schools, high schools and teacher education programs. From 2016-2018,she was the National Inuit Language Coordinator at Inuit Tapiriit Kanatamiand is now Senior Inuktitut Editor at Inhabit Education.

Emma Pedersen is a Toronto-based illustrator and visual storyteller, specializingin children's illustration.
