Annabel Lyon is a Vancouver-based author. Lyon debuted with a short story collection entitledOxygenin 2000.Her novel The Golden Mean wonthe Rogers Writers' Trust Fiction Prize, was shortlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and the Governor General's Literary Award for fiction.

She is also the author of a book of novellas The Best Thing for Youand two young adult novels,All-Season EdieandEncore Edie.
