Kamloops mayor to try for spot as MLA

The Mayor of Kamloops says he wants to run for the Liberal partyin the provincial election next spring.

Peter Milobar hopes to replace Terry Lake as the candidatefor Kamloops-North Thompson.

First Milobar will have to get by Stephen Puhallo of the North Shore Business Association.He too is running for the party's nomination.

Milobar announced his plan at a press conference yesterday.
