Deadline extended! Calling all diverse video creators

CBC Inclusion and Diversity launches the CBC Development Workshop for Diverse Creators volume 3 - its latest training series for creators of unscripted videos across the country. Interested participants should apply by July 11, 2016.

CBC Arts and CBC Short Docs are holding an incubator to develop emerging video makers

It's a chance to produce the short video you've always dreamed of creating and potentially have it broadcast on CBC.

CBC Arts and CBC Short Docs, through the network'sInclusion and Diversity initiative, areoffering an opportunity for up to 12 video creators to come toToronto and train with some of the best inCanadian arts and documentary programming.

The development workshop takes place at the Broadcast Centre, 250 Front St. W.Toronto, Sept. 14-17, 2016. The four full-day sessions will help emerging creators who identifyas part of an Indigenous, disability or visible minoritycommunity to sharpen their professional skills, expand their networks, and learn to developideas withthe CBC specifically producingshort-form,unscripted,digital videos.

This is the third in the training series. Recently, the CBC Development Workshop for Diverse CreatorsVolume 2 focusedon scripted content andresulted in two development deals.
